Multiple Bay Area fires move quickly in dry conditions

FAIRFIELD, Calif. (KGO) -- Dangerously dry conditions have made the Bay Area a tinder box. On Tuesday there were a number of grass fires.

West of Interstate 80 behind Vista Grande in Fairfield, a 15-acre hillside fire threatened homes.

There was also another grass fire that threatened homes in Martinez.

Both grass fires were put out quickly, but it could be an indication of the impact the California drought is having on the Bay Area.
