VIDEO: Illegal fireworks display on lanes of Bay Bridge brings traffic to a standstill

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Fireworks stopped traffic on the upper deck of the Bay Bridge Tuesday night.

CHP says about 10 to 15 vehicles parked just past Treasure Island at around 8 p.m. and people got out, lighting off the fireworks.

After about two minutes, they got back into their cars and took off.

CHP says no one was arrested or cited.

A driver heading eastbound on the Bay Bridge got video of someone riding a bike in the slow lane.
