George, Amal Clooney adopt basset hound from San Gabriel shelter

SAN GABRIEL, Calif. -- George and Amal Clooney added a new member to their family Wednesday.

The Oscar-winning actor and his wife adopted a 4-year-old basset hound named Millie from the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society.

Millie was brought in after being found looking for food scraps outside a local restaurant, according to the shelter website.

The couple did a meet-and-greet with little Millie and then brought in their other rescue dog, a cocker spaniel named Louie, to seal the deal.
