At-risk missing Marin County man found safe

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (KGO) -- A Silver Alert has been cancelled for an at-risk missing 71-year-old man from Marin County.

Authorities say Robert Edward Rich went missing on Wednesday. He suffers from dementia and could become disoriented.

He was found early Thursday morning after a command post was set up at San Rafael City Hall. Authorities say he hitchhiked home.
