Elephant seals at San Mateo Co. beach test positive for bird flu
It is the first confirmed outbreak in any elephant seal population in California. As a result of the outbreak, the elephant seal viewing area at Ano Nuevo State Park has been closed and tours have been canceled until at least March 1.
