2 injured after car crashes into bar in downtown San Jose, fire department says

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- A bar owner in downtown San Jose is cleaning up the damage after a car crashed into the business late Thursday night.

San Jose fire responded to the bar, along Post and First streets, shortly before 11 p.m.

At least two people were taken to the hospital, but we don't know the extent of their injuries.

The area was packed with people enjoying a night out at the time of the crash.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
