'Sinners,' Teyana Taylor, Kendrick Lamar and Cardi B also scored multiple nominations

LOS ANGELES -- The NAACP has announced its list of "57th NAACP Image Awards" nominees.
"Abbott Elementary" is up for six awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Quinta Brunson, Janelle James, Tyler James Williams, William Stanford Davis earned acting nods. The show also was nominated for Outstanding Writing.
"Reasonable Doubt" also earned six nods, including Outstanding Drama Series, Emayatzy Corinealdi for Outstanding Actress and Morris Chestnut and Brandee Evans for Outstanding Guest Performance.
Hulu's "Paradise" has also been nominated for Outstanding Drama Series. And Sterling K. Brown has acting nominations for "Paradise" and "Washington Black."
"Percy Jackson and the Olympians" on Disney+ is nominated for Outstanding Children's Series and Leah Sava Jeffries has a nod for Outstanding Performance by a Youth (Series, Special, Television Movie or Limited-Series).
Hulu's "All's Fair" earned two nominations for Outstanding Hair and Makeup.
"Sinners" earned the most nominations with 18, including Outstanding Motion Picture, Directing and acting nominations for Michael B. Jordan, Delroy Lindo, Miles Caton, Jayme Lawson and Wunmi Mosaku.
"Highest 2 Lowest" received nine, including an acting nomination for A$AP Rocky.
Individually, Teyana Taylor received six nominations over multiple categories, including Entertainer of the Year.

"From film, television, and music to literature and beyond, the voices of all of our nominees tell stories that honor our past, celebrate our identity, and remind us that storytelling has the power to move culture forward."

The awards will be handed out February 28 in Pasadena, CA.
