Jimmy Kimmel, Martin Short bring the funny to ABC Wednesday nights

Jimmy Kimmel is ready to bring the funny this summer on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire." Celebrity guests will team up for a chance to win the $1 million prize for their charities.

"Can I say that someone won a million dollars? I'm not supposed to," Kimmel teased when he spoke with On The Red Carpet's George Pennacchio.

The show's season premiere will showcase Drew Carey teaming up with Aisha Tyler and "Jeopardy!" host Ken Jennings with Matt Damon.

"Matt's dumb! Let's be clear. He's not the guy from whatever that--'Good Will Hunting'--he's not that guy. But Ken's very smart, so it balanced out," Kimmel said of his longtime "nemesis."

Martin Short promises lots of improv on "Match Game" while Jimmy Kimmel has some choice words for "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" guest Matt Damon. Both shows premiere tonight on ABC and stream the next day on Hulu.

All bets are off on what Martin Short might say over on "Match Game." The iconic show is making a comeback with Short as host.

"There's a lot of improvising here. It's not scripted, there's no script," Short told On The Red Carpet.

That should make things interesting each episode as four contestants compete for the chance to win $25 thousand by trying to match their answers to a panel of six celebrities. Some of the stars playing along: Anthony Anderson, Joel McHale, Kevin Nealon and Short's "Only Murders in the Building" co-stars Selena Gomez and Da'Vine Joy Randolph.

"Who Wants to Be A Millionaire" premieres at 8pm EST/ 7pm CST and "Match Game" airs at 9pm EST/ 8pm CST on ABC and stream the next day on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Hulu and this ABC station.
