Amazon's second-biggest sale of the year has started. Prime Big Deal Days offers two full days of big discounts. It's an early chance to jumpstart holiday shopping and snag deep discounts before the Black Friday rush.
Here's what you need to know about Prime Big Deal Days to help you shop smarter, along with our top picks for the best deals available now.
What are Amazon Prime Big Deal Days?
Prime Big Deal Days is a lot like July's Prime Day sale, with discounts on home goods, fashion, tech, beauty, furniture, and more.
When is Prime Big Deal Days 2026?
Prime Big Deal Days starts today, Tuesday, October 6, and runs through Wednesday, October 7. The sale lasts 48 hours.
Who can participate in Prime Big Deal Days?
These deals are for Amazon Prime members only. If you're not a member yet, you can join in a few ways. Sign up for a membership, try a 30-day free trial, or, if you're 18-24, get a 6-month Prime Student trial. With Prime, you get exclusive deals, free shipping, and early access to Prime Day offers.
What's the difference between Prime Day and Prime Big Deal Days?
Both sales offer big discounts. Prime Day is in the summer, and Prime Big Deal Days are in the fall. You'll find low prices in nearly every category at both events.
What is on sale?
Big Deal Days includes discounts on Apple gadgets, Owala water bottles, Bissell vacuums, Hanes basics, beauty products, and more. If you missed Prime Day in June, now's your chance to grab your favorite items.
How long do the deals last?
To see when deals end, look for red text or badges on product pages that say "Ends in" with a countdown clock. If you spot something you want, don't wait for a better price. Prices rarely drop further on the second day, and popular items can sell out. If a price tracker shows it's the lowest price in months, it's a good time to buy.
Are Prime Day Deals different for each day?
Amazon Prime Big Deal Days feature 48-hour deals and new limited-time offers that change throughout each day. Amazon adds new deals several times a day. We'll update our top picks as new deals appear, so check back often for the latest offers.
Are Prime Day deals exclusive to Amazon?
While Prime Day is only for Amazon and Prime Members, many other retailers also have deals during this time, including Walmart, Kohl's, Nike, Cozy Earth, Best Buy, and more.
