Ariana Grande accosted by attendee at 'Wicked' premiere

Ariana Grande was accosted by an attendee at the "Wicked: For Good" premiere in Singapore on Thursday.

According to footage of the incident, as Grande walked down the yellow carpet greeting fans, the attendee appeared jump over a barrier and run up to her before wrapping an arm around the actress, who appeared shocked by the interaction.

Grande's "Wicked: For Good" co-stars Cynthia Erivo and Michelle Yeoh, who were walking the carpet with her at the time, rushed to Grande's aid, working to separate the attendee from Grande as security rushed in.

Social media users pointed to the Instagram account@PyjamaMannas the person who allegedly charged Grande. According to videos of the incident, the Instagram account owner and the person who grabbed Grande on the red carpet appear to be the same person.

The account owner also shared a video of the incident, writing in the caption, "Dear Ariana Grande Thank You for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You."

ABC News has reached out to the account owner for comment.

Police have not yet commented on the incident.

"Wicked: For Good," the epic conclusion to director Jon M. Chu's two-part "Wicked" film series, is set to release Nov. 21 in theaters.

The film recently teased two new original songs for the final installment, including "The Girl in the Bubble," sung by Grande, and "No Place Like Home," sung by Erivo.
