BURBANK, CA -- Return to the world of Pandora with the home release of its Oscar winning third installment.
20th Century Studios' "Avatar: Fire and Ash" is coming soon to your home after taking home an Oscar for its achievements in visual effects, and being one of the Motion Picture Association's top-grossing films of all time with $1.5 billion at the box office. Continuing James Cameron's visionary journey, Jake (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña) guide their family through grief when their path is threatened by a new enemy - the Ash People, a warlike clan led by the fierce Varang (Oona Chaplin), who have turned against Eywa and the ancient Na'vi way.
On March 31, the film will be released on Digital on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango at Home. It'll then be available to own in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, and DVD on May 19, featuring stunning Dolby Vision picture quality and immersive Dolby Atmos audio.
The release will also come with over three hours of never-before-seen bonus content that helps audiences further dive into the world of the film. The featurette series "Igniting the Flame: The Making of Avatar: Fire and Ash" provides a look at how the writing, costume and production design, performance capture, visual effects and more all came together to help Pandora spring to life. Additional features give an inside look into the language and culture of the Na'vi, a tour of the on-location sets, and so much more the uncover.
For those special collectors, a limited-edition 4K Ultra HD SteelBook will also release, showcasing the high-flying intensity of a Mangkwan attack, then revealing inside the serene beauty and spiritual calm of the Na'vi within Pandora's lush rainforest.
