The star-studded comedy 'Ella McCay' from James L. Brooks opens in theaters December 12
LOS ANGELES -- Oscar and Emmy Award winner James L. Brooks is back behind the camera with "Ella McCay," a new comedy set to premiere exclusively in theaters on December 12.
"Ella McCay" follows the story of a bright, idealistic young woman as she tries to balance her demanding professional life with the chaos of her family - a heartfelt and humorous look at the people we love and the challenges that come with them.
The film features a standout ensemble cast, including Emma Mackey, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jack Lowden, Kumail Nanjiani, Ayo Edebiri, Rebecca Hall, Julie Kavner, Becky Ann Baker, Joey Brooks, and Spike Fearn, with appearances from Albert Brooks and Woody Harrelson.
