Behind-the-scenes look at construction of Bay FC Performance Center on Treasure Island
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Bay FC will open its new performance center on Treasure Island in less than three months.
ABC7 Eyewitness News toured the facility with Bay FC's four founders: Brandi Chastain, Aly Wagner, Danielle Slaton and Leslie Osborne. During the tour, one of the founders reacted to the facility, saying, "Wow! Wowzers, just like the good ol' days."
Bay FC currently shares practice space with San Jose State and looks forward to having its own home.

"We never had anything close to this, but that's why we're doing this, that's why we're founders, that's why we wanted to build this is because our players deserve more," Osborne said. "These players are going to produce incredibly entertaining soccer with what we have here."
The performance center is scheduled to open in January and will include a kitchen, gym and lap pool.
