CROCKETT, Calif. (KGO) -- A big rig slammed through a fence in Crockett in the East Bay on Monday nearly hitting a home.
The vehicle was traveling on Virginia Street when it somehow lost control, and hit a fire hydrant and flooded the area.
It then hit two cars, then crashed through the front of a house.
The big rig kept going, slammed through a fence and finally came to a stop, dangling over a terrace.
"It just missed the bedroom I was at. If we did not have the fence or the retaining wall, he would have taken out the top part they said," said resident Donna Moreno.
First responders tell ABC7 Eyewitness News the truck was carrying food.
No indication yet what caused the crash.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
