
YOLO COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- Cache Creek Casino in Yolo County is warning customers about an active tuberculosis case tied to the resort.
The casino says it's working with public health officials to notify people who may have been in close contact with the infected person.
Active TB is an airborne illness that typically affects the lungs and can be highly contagious. It can be treated with antibiotics.

The state health department says California averages about 2,000 cases a year.
The casino encourages concerned guests to contact their healthcare provider.
