Caught on camera: Terrifying moment top bunk gives way as child sleeps on bottom bed

IOWA PARK, Texas -- A new video captures the terrifying moments when a bunk bed collapses at a home in Texas.

The footage shows the slats give way, with the mattress and a young girl falling onto the bottom bed.

The girl then tries to free her trapped brother underneath, before rushing for help.

Their mother, Auora Price, shared the video on TikTok and says she followed all the instructions when she put it together.

"A couple days after putting it together, the quality of the bed failed, and my Ring camera, used to monitor the kids for safety reasons, caught it happen," she said.

Price said the children walked away scared, but unscathed, with "not even a scratch from the incident."

It's not clear, though, what caused the bed to collapse.
