LAS VEGAS -- Kansas City Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice sustained a right hamstring injury in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders. He was ruled doubtful after halftime.
Rice recorded a short seven-yard reception but stumbled and pulled up while trying to gain yards after the catch, ending the play by going out of bounds. Rice tried to stay in the game, but he headed to the locker room after a lengthy chat with head team trainer Rick Burkholder.
Through the first three weeks, Rice has been the Chiefs' best receiver, generating 13 receptions on 16 targets for 190 yards and a touchdown.
