
NEW YORK CITY -- The Walt Disney Company won big at the Children's & Family Emmy Awards on Monday night.
The Children's & Family Emmy Awards, held at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, celebrates the best in creativity and innovation in children's entertainment.
The Walt Disney Company won 22 awards across its content brands and studios, including Disney+, which took home 21 of those awards.
"Descendants: The Rise Of Red" and "Win or Lose" tied for the most honored program with five wins.
Disney's "Star Wars: Skeleton Crew" was the most-nominated series, and won Outstanding Young Teen Series.
During the ceremony, Bill Nye the Science Guy was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, and also spoke to entertainment reporter Joelle Garguilo.
"I put my heart and soul into that thing, and all the things I do, and I've been a member of the national academy since I guess 1985," he said. "So, this is very nice. It's amazing, wonderful."
Disney is the parent company of Disney+, Lucasfilm, Marvel, National Geographic, Pixar and this station.
