FAIRFAX DISTRICT, LOS ANGELES -- TikTok took over the ballroom on Tuesday night for week three of "Dancing with the Stars." The show celebrated the popular social media app with an episode dedicated to TikTok's influence on music and choreography.
The show opened with a dance by Season 31 winner and TikTok star Charli D'Amelio. The troupe joined her for a dance to "Apple" by Charli XCX, which was part of a viral dance trend on TikTok last summer.
Charli later joined her Season 31 partner, Mark Balas, for their take on the TikTok "samba whisk" challenge.
Whitney Leavitt and Mark Balas, and Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa were at the top of the leaderboard for week three with scores of 24 out of 30.
Bringing up the end of the list, another tie with 18 points out of 30: Andy Richter and Emma Slater, and Lauren Jauregui and Brandon Armstrong.
It was a night full of viral songs, high energy, and even some emotional moments, but in the end -- one star was sent home.
"Fifth Harmony" star Lauren Jauregui was sent home, much to the surprise of fans in the audience.
When host Julianne Hough asked how she was feeling, Lauren said she was "pissed," but went on to thank Brandon Armstrong for his partnership.
