LOS ANGELES -- It was a spooky night in the "Dancing with the Stars" ballroom, and not just for the latest couple that was eliminated!
Week seven of the hit reality competition series hosted a Halloween-themed night.
The nine remaining couples performed haunting routines in a variety of styles, then the couples returned to the dance floor to earn extra points by taking part in a dance marathon, or rather, a "monster-thon!"
There was drama in the ballroom when we learned film and TV actress Elaine Hendrix had injured herself during rehearsal earlier in the day. She said she felt like her muscle twisted under her ribs and was taken away from the ballroom on a stretcher.
Since she had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital and was not cleared to dance again on Tuesday, the judges scored the couple's last recorded rehearsal, so fans still got to see them perform, just in an empty ballroom without their costumes.
The doctors said if Hendrix made it through, she could continue next week. Clearly, the fans stood by her!
In the end, "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" star Jen Affleck and her partner Jan Ravnik were eliminated on Halloween night.
"I just feel grateful, I really gave it my all. I put in all the work," Affleck said after the elimination. "Not only did I show up and try my hardest, but I also tried my hardest at home, being a mom. I tried my best juggling both. It was the hardest thing I've ever done."
Here's a look at the judge's scoreboard, from both individual and marathon dances:
Next week's show will be a tribute to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
