Dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets sold at Walmart could contain lead, USDA says

The USDA has issued a health alert for dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets sold at Walmart, as certain packages may contain lead.

The Walmart Great Value brand nuggets were produced on February 10.

The 29-ounce bags have a "Best if used by" date of February 10, 2027, a lot code 0416DPO1215, and establishment number P44164 printed on the back of the bag.

Each bag contains about 36 dino-shaped nuggets and were shipped to stores nationwide.

The USDA says the items are no longer available for sale, but could still be in customers' freezers.

Lead is especially harmful to pregnant women, infants and young children.

The USDA says the nuggets should be thrown away or returned to Walmart for a refund.
