CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- The suspect in a San Ramon DUI crash that killed a Castro Valley woman over Thanksgiving weekend was charged with second-degree murder, police said Thursday.

Police said after presenting evidence in court, 28-year-old Badal Dholaria was charged with one count of second-degree murder and four counts of felony DUI.

The two-car crash involved a Tesla Model S and Ford Bronco on Crow Canyon Road Saturday afternoon.

Police say preliminary reports indicate Dholaria was traveling at more than 150 mph westbound in a Tesla and struck the passenger side of a Ford Bronco. The Tesla was believed to have still been traveling in excess of 120 mph at the time of the impact.

Dholaria's bail has been set at $1.2 million, and he remains in custody at the Martinez Detention Facility.
