MARTINEZ, Calif. (KGO) -- A murder suspect mistakenly released from an East Bay jail last week is still on the run.
Now, the family of the victim says they're frustrated by the way the case is being handled.
Twenty-year-old Isaiah Andrews is accused of killing Theodore Wheeler IV at a hotel in Seattle on Oct. 15.

Andrews was arrested in Contra Costa County several days after the killing. After a few days in the Martinez jail, he was released by accident.
Wheeler's mother -- who asked for her name not to be shared out of concern for her family's safety -- says investigators haven't contacted her about the release. She says she's hurt and disappointed about how her son's case has been handled.
"I want someone to step up and take responsibility they're putting my family in jeopardy," she said.
