Brush fire burns 10 acres near Antioch BART tracks

ANTIOCH, Calif. (KGO) -- Crews battled a fast-moving brush fire that burned near Antioch BART tracks Tuesday evening.

The 3-alarm, 10-acre fire burned near Oakley Road and Willow Avenue by the BART yard.

Contra Costa fire says as of 6:06 p.m., the perimeter of the fire has been contained.

SKY7 video showed the fire putting out thick black smoke.

There were no evacuations however, a public health advisory has been issued for Oakley, Brentwood, Byron, and Discovery Bay, according to Con Fire. due to the smoke in the area.

Authorities say one person, likely a transient, was suffering from possible smoke inhalation but they declined any type of medical treatment.
