New photos show off Hulu's anti-rom-com about friendship and betrayal its streaming this summer

LOS ANGELES -- Hulu just dropped a first look at a brand-new comedy from the team behind the Emmy-winning show "Baby Reindeer."
The six-episode series centers on two longtime besties whose friendship implodes when Steve starts dating Alice's 26-year-old daughter.
Titled "Alice and Steve," the show flips the rom-com on its head, serving up a story that asks "What happens when love and revenge go head-to-head?"
New stills offer a look at some of the characters we'll meet in the series.
Here's the official synopsis: Alice is devastated when her best friend Steve starts dating her 26-year-old daughter, Izzy. She's going to lose her best friend and her daughter in one fell swoop. Alice tries everything she can to end the relationship. Unfortunately for her, Steve's more than ready for the attack, and what begins as a perfect friendship devolves into an all-out feud.
The series stars Jemaine Clement and Nicola Walker, alongside Joel Fry ("Cruella") and Yali Topol Margalith ("A Good Girl's Guide to Murder"). The ensemble also features Tyrese Eaton-Dyce, Marcia Warren, Eilidh Fisher, and Ebony Aboagye.
Created and written by Sophie Goodhart ("Sex Education") and directed by BAFTA-winner Tom Kingsley, "Alice and Steve" is set to premiere in competition at CANNESERIES 2026 before streaming this summer on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Hulu, Disney+ and this ABC station.
