HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES -- From Flushing to fame -- Fran Drescher will forever be on Hollywood Boulevard!
Drescher is set to receive her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, which also marks her 68th birthday.
Drescher is best known for her role as Fran Fine in the hit series "The Nanny," which she co-created and executive produced. She was nominated for two Golden Globes and two Emmy awards, according to a Walk of Fame news release.
"Fran has not only brought laughter and joy to millions through her unforgettable work on screen, but she has also shown tremendous strength and dedication as a leader for her fellow performers. We are thrilled to honor her with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for both her artistic achievements and her tireless advocacy as SAG-AFTRA President," said Ana Martinez, Hollywood Walk of Fame producer, in the news release.
She'll be honored in the Motion Pictures category, with pals Natasha Lyonne, Renee Taylor and Lisa Ann Walters there to celebrate.
"The Nanny" co-creator and executive producer Peter Marc Jacobson is set to emcee the ceremony.
Drescher's star will be the 2,822nd star on the iconic Walk of Fame.
The Hollywood Museum plans to open a new exhibit on Wednesday dedicated to Drescher's career.
