
LOS ANGELES -- Jennifer Runyon, the actress known for her roles in "Ghostbusters" and "Charles in Charge," has died. She was 65.
Her passing was confirmed in a social media post Sunday on her account, saying in part, "This past Friday our beloved Jennifer passed away, it was a long and arduous journey that ended with her surrounded by her family."

"She will always be remembered for her love of life and her devotion to her family and friends," the statement continued. "Rest in peace our Jenn."
The cause of her death was not immediately known.
Runyon appeared in "Ghostbusters" in 1984.
