At least 13 people injured in Oklahoma shooting, area hospitals say

EDMOND, Okla. -- At least 13 people were taken to hospitals after a shooting during a party near Arcadia Lake in Edmond, Oklahoma, on Sunday night, local police said.

The shooting occurred at around 9 p.m., Emily Ward -- a spokesperson for the Edmond Police Department -- told reporters during a press conference.

Police transported 10 victims to area hospitals in various conditions, Ward said.

"The total number of victims is expected to change as additional individuals transported themselves to area hospitals," the Edmond Police Department said in a statement posted to X. "There is no update on victim conditions at this time."

A spokesperson for Integris Health confirmed that 10 victims were being treated at Integris Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, with another three people were being treated at Integris Health Edmond Hospital.

Police have not made any arrests but do not believe there is a threat to the public, Ward said.
