The countdown is on for Taylor Swift's new album.

The 14-time Grammy-winning singer's 12th studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl," is almost here and Swifties are excited for the new music to arrive.

On Monday, Swift shared a promo for her album featuring herself as a director on a film set directing another version of herself as a showgirl with a new edition of her upcoming record in the background.

"She's got 4 days left to rehearse for her big moment ," Swift captioned the post, which also promoted "The Life of a Showgirl: The Crowd is Your King Edition" vinyl. The vinyl featured is described as "Summertime Spritz Pink Shimmer" and will be sold only at Target.

In the video, as the singer's showgirl persona misses a few of her marks for the camera, her director persona says, "It's giving 'no girl,' not 'showgirl.' ... Is there a school we could very quickly send her to?"

"Elegance, charm," director Swift says as showgirl Swift throws glitter in the air.

How did Swift announce 'The Life of a Showgirl'?

In August, the "Fortnight" singer revealed her upcoming album during an appearance on fiance Travis Kelce's "New Heights" podcast.

During the episode, which was Swift's podcast debut, Swift also revealed the cover of her upcoming album.

What has Swift said about 'The Life of a Showgirl'?

Swift shared on the "New Heights" podcast that she worked on "The Life of a Showgirl" while she was in Europe on her Eras Tour.

She also opened up about how meaningful the project is for her.

"I care more about this record more than I can even overstate," she said at the time. "This is the record I've been wanting to make for a very long time."

Has Swift released any singles ahead of the new album?

Swift has not released any songs prior to the release of her upcoming album, leaving fans even more excited to hear what she has in store for them in this new era.

During her podcast debut, she teased the album as "a lot more upbeat."

"It's a lot more like fun pop, like excitement," she added. "I think it's a complete 180 from a lot of the songs on 'Tortured Poets' for sure."

Swift said she made the album with Max Martin and Shellback. She previously worked with them on her "Red," "Reputation" and "1989" albums.

Noticeably present throughout Swift's new album cover is an orange theme.

On the "New Heights" podcast, Swift said that the color "feels kind of energetically how my life has felt."

"And this album is about what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life during this tour, which was so exuberant and electric and vibrant," she said at the time.
