Evacuation lifted after report of bomb threat at SF's Lowell High School, police say

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Lowell High School in San Francisco was evacuated on Tuesday due to report of a bomb threat.

The school district said on X, "all students and staff are safe" and San Francisco police are investigating.

SFPD lifted the evacuation, giving an "all clear" about 30 minutes later just before 3:30 p.m.

"Students are resuming regular school activities. We appreciate the school's leadership and staff, and swift response of SFUSD teams and our city partners for their support."
