Man, woman found shot to death at San Jose shopping center parking lot, police say

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Two people were found dead following a shooting in a San Jose parking lot on Tuesday, according to San Jose police.

SJPD received a report of the incident around 11:40 a.m. at the El Paseo de Saratoga Shopping Center.

One witness told ABC7 Eyewitness News he heard about seven rounds of gunshots.

Police say the two people who were shot knew each other -- and police call this an isolated incident, with no continuing threat to the public.

The parking lot will remain closed for several hours, police said, as San Jose police's Homicide Unit investigates the incident.
