SAN DIEGO -- San Diego Comic-Con isn't just a fan haven - it's a star-studded celebration where some of the biggest names in entertainment drop sneak peeks, dish on upcoming projects and soak in the fan love.

At the Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con Bash, the energy was high, and the stories were flowing as celebrities shared what the convention means to them.

"If you're here at Comic-Con, it's because you're celebrating success of some kind," said Nathan Fillion. "You're doing something right."

"The Rookie" star was clearly feeling the festive vibes.

"This is the release, it's like it's Christmas Eve, it's Christmas Day, it's Christmas morning. We're opening up presents at this point - unboxing Labubu's," he joked.

Fillion has plenty to celebrate, with the much-anticipated return of "The Rookie" on ABC. Catch up on all seasons streaming on Hulu.

Beloved Disney Channel characters Phineas and Ferb were also in attendance. Vincent Martella and David Errigo Jr., who voice the animated brothers, were still buzzing from their packed panel.

"We had to turn people away," Errigo said. "I'm not happy that you got turned away - I'm happy that it was that full."

Martella added, "It's a lovely reminder of how dedicated our fanbase is to 'Phineas and Ferb' and how thankful we all are to make the show for you guys."

You can check out the newest revival of "Phineas and Ferb" streaming on Disney+.

Voice acting legend Jim Cummings, the voice of Winnie the Pooh, brought the Hundred Acre Wood to San Diego for a moment. And he told On The Red Carpet what Pooh himself would think of Comic-Con.

"Well first of all, it's very not the same as the Hundred Acre Wood," he said in character. "And there's no honey..."

And what's Comic-Con without a little superhero flair? Marvel's "X-Men '97" stars Lenore Zann and Isaac Robinson-Smith joined the carpet, with Zann rocking a Rogue-inspired outfit she scored on the convention floor.

"I walked in, and I saw a booth and I said, 'Hey sugar, I think that's got my name on it,'" she said. "The folks who made all the action figures gave me a beautiful Rogue and Remy action figure where they're in the Basketball outfits. I'm grateful."

Catch the dynamic duo in action as they lend their voices to "X-Men '97," streaming now on Disney+.
