SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A new skyscraper could replace Golden Gate University at the site of its current campus in downtown San Francisco, according to multiple reports.
The reports state that a Texas-based development firm has filed an application with the city's planning department.
The application included two proposals, with both including office spaces and one including housing.
It's not yet clear exactly what the university's future at this new site would be, but it's believed that the property could be leased back to the school.
