John Beam's former players, now NFL athletes, react to Oakland Laney College shooting
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Two former Laney College players took to social media Thursday afternoon in the wake of hearing their former coach, John Beam, was shot on campus in Oakland.

In one of the photos, Beam is pictured with brother Nahshon and Rejzohn Wright, who currently play in the NFL. Rejzohn was featured on Netflix's show "Last Chance U" and played at Oregon State.

Beam shared a photo on social media four weeks ago, when he traveled to watch the brothers -- as Nahshon's Chicago Bears faced off against Rejzohn's New Orleans Saints.
Nahshon re-posted the photo on Thursday.
After news of Coach Beam's passing on Friday Nahshon posted "Will forever Miss You Dawg" over another photo of Coach Beam.
Rejzohn shared a picture with Coach Beam, writing, "Crushed."
In another post from Thursday he wrote, "You mean the world to me."
