Official trailer: the six-episode ESPN original series, 'The Kingdom' tells the rich history of the Kansas City Chiefs

LOS ANGELES -- ESPN, Disney+, and Skydance Sports have dropped the official trailer for "The Kingdom," a six-part ESPN Original Series centered on the Kansas City Chiefs which premieres August 14 on ESPN, ESPN+, and Disney+.
"The Kingdom" dives deep into the Chiefs' legacy - from over 60 years of highs and lows to their incredible 2024 season. With never-before-seen access, the docuseries gives fans a front-row seat to the making of a modern NFL dynasty.
Directed by Kristen Lappas (Giannis: The Marvelous Journey), the series is produced by the team behind "The Last Dance", including Connor Schell, Jason Hehir, Libby Geist, and Aaron Cohen.
"The real magic comes from the people who lived it," said Lappas. "Their honesty shows what makes the Chiefs truly one of a kind."
Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt added, "We're proud to share what Chiefs Kingdom means - on and off the field."
Episodes 1 and 2 will also air on ESPN at 9PM ET August 14 while all six episodes will be available on ESPN+ and Disney+ the same day.
