BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- The parents of a 19-year-old UC Berkeley student who died after drowning at a fraternity party last month are now suing the frat for wrongful death.
According to Berkeley Scanner, the parents of George Salinas filed the suit Tuesday in Alameda County Superior Court.
Salinas was found on Nov. 14 next to the pool of Alpha Delta Phi fraternity. He was taken to the hospital and died three days later.

The suit claims that over 300 people attended the party -- far over the 200-person limit. It also alleges dangerous conditions, including overcrowding in the pool, slippery surfaces and no lifeguard or sober monitor.
The city later cited the fraternity for loud and unruly gatherings.
