Person dead after shooting on campus of East Oakland adult education center

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- At least one person is dead after a shooting on an East Oakland school campus Friday morning.

The shooting happened just before 10 a.m. at the Oakland Adult and Career Education Resource Center, which uses the old Parker Elementary campus.

SKY7 was over the scene, which showed dozens of evidence markers near a classroom not attached to the main building and a yellow tarp over a body.

The resource center is operated by the Oakland Unified School District.
