SAN FRANCISCO -- Power has been restored to more than 6,000 Pacific Gas and Electric customers after a storm-related outage in San Francisco on Saturday.
The outage was first reported around 11:10 a.m. and mostly affected the Sunset and Richmond neighborhoods.
PG&E said the estimated restoration time was 3:45 p.m., but crews were able to get the power back on around 2:45 p.m.

This follows a series of winter weather-related outages that have been affecting thousands of people across the Bay Area. PG&E said high winds could disturb power lines and cause power distribution issues.
Over the Christmas week celebrations, thousands in San Francisco were in the dark following a fire at a substation and storm-related outages.
Mayor Daniel Lurie is joined by a list of other public officials calling for PG&E to cut rates and ensure such outages do not occur again.
District 4 Supervisor Alan Wong, who represent the neighborhoods affected and was appointed at the start of the month by Lurie, has continuously been adamantly calling for hearings from PG&E about the outages.
