OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- A large crowd of protesters marched near the Port of Oakland Friday morning, trying to block the entry to the port.
The protesters were demanding that Oakland end its arms shipment to Israel.
The group held up a big banner saying "Stop the Siege on Gaza" and even temporarily blocked a nearby road.

The Port of Oakland said in a statement that the protest was peaceful and there was no impact to port operations.
They say the group of protesters has since disbanded.
Protesters were reportedly showing solidarity with the Global Sumud Flotilla, which is heading to Gaza with aid.
