Rep. Chuck Edwards withdraws from reelection campaign in North Carolina

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Republican Rep. Chuck Edwards of North Carolina is withdrawing from his reelection campaign, he said on Wednesday.

"I will complete my current term," he said on social media. "Serving Western North Carolina has been the honor of my life. Thank you for your trust, prayers, and support. God bless WNC and America."
