YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif. -- A rare phenomenon draws crowds to Yosemite National Park each February, and this year, reservations will not be required during these peak visit times.
From mid to late February, Horsetail Fall may glow orange when it's backlit by sunset, turning it into the "Firefall."
Viewings typically draw plenty of people, and in years past, you would have needed a reservation to enter.
There will be some parking and area restrictions in place due to the popular event, which may have you walking farther for a chance to see the firefall.
