San Francisco ranked #2 most ideal climate in US, report says

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco is ranked for having one of the best climates in the country, according to a report by the Camelot Climate Index.

It was developed by long-time Bay Area Meteorologist Jan Null.

San Francisco came in second with a rating of 87 out of 100.

One of the reasons for its high ranking was because the city is warm and dry in summer and mild and wet in winter.

San Diego took the top spot.

Sacramento came in fourth.

Coming in at the bottom?

Juneau and Nome, Alaska.
