Scott Speedman stars in new crime drama 'R.J. Decker' on ABC

NEW YORK -- Second chances meet chaos in South Florida in a new ABC series that premieres Tuesday night.

Scott Speedman stars as a disgraced news photographer and ex-con-turned private investigator.

The new drama "R.J. Decker" will tackle bizarre cases all around South Florida, but will he crack the case or end up back in jail?

Speedman says RJ's skillset makes him uniquely qualified for the job.

"His previous life as a news photographer definitely got him into the 'underworld' of South Florida, he got to know the cops, he got to know the criminals, he got to know that world very well, so when he goes to jail and comes out a new man, I think he just wants to leave all that behind and then take what he knows from his previous life in jail and start anew and he's sort of helping," Speedman said.
