
SAN BENITO COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- Several earthquakes struck south of the Bay Area in San Benito County on Black Friday. The strongest quake was a magnitude 3.4, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquakes happened around 7:40 a.m. near San Juan Bautista, which is south of San Jose, near Salinas.
A minor 2.6 quake hit seconds after the first, and a 2.7 hit minutes later.
There are no reports of any injuries or damages.
This comes less than a day after several earthquakes hit near the same area on Thanksgiving, the strongest being a 4.0 at 12:57 p.m. Thursday. Shaking was reportedly felt across the South Bay.
It also comes two days after quakes hit a bit further north in Gilroy on Wednesday, the strongest being a 4.0 as well.
