Several quakes, strongest 4.0 magnitude, strike near Gilroy: USGS

GILROY, Calif. (KGO) -- Multiple earthquakes struck near Gilroy Wednesday morning, the strongest being a 4.0 magnitude, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The 4.0 quake hit at 6:16 a.m., with a 2.7 magnitude hitting minutes later and a 3.9 magnitude hitting just after that.

There are no reports of any injuries or damages, but shaking was reportedly felt across most of the South Bay and as North as San Francisco and even up in San Rafael.
