Evacuations lifted for Sky Fire in Lake County, CAL FIRE says

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- Evacuation were lifted for parts of Lake County Sunday as crews worked to contain a vegetation fire near Sky High Ridge Road and Morgan Valley Road.

The Sky Fire has burned at least 19 acres and was 80% contained as of Sunday night, CAL FIRE said. It was first reported at 3:18 p.m.

Evacuation orders and warnings were originally issued for parts of Lower Lake when crews were concerned about the moderate speed that the fire was spreading.
