PIEDMONT, Calif. (KGO) -- The sole survivor of a Cybertruck crash that killed three college students is suing Tesla.
In the November 2024 crash, the Cybertruck caught fire after slamming into a tree in Piedmont.

The lawsuit alleges the vehicle's design trapped the students inside and kept a friend from rescuing them.
The Cybertruck had no exterior door handles - and had reinforced windows that were hard to break.
We reached out to Tesla for a response, but have not heard back.
