MILPITAS, Calif. (KGO) -- In the South Bay, giving back came in the form of hundreds of cereal boxes.
We were at the Stratford School's Beresford Square campus in Milpitas Wednesday where organizers conjured up an interesting way to celebrate all the donations: a cereal box domino run.
Students collected a total of 950 boxes, lined them up, and then knocked them down.

As fun as this looks, they hope the youngsters come away from it with a valuable life lesson.
"What they're learning is how one simple act of kindness can help others and something as simple as donating a box of cereal could just help those in need. And starting at such a young age, we want to help to start build empathy and compassion," said Ashley Lee at Stratford School.
The cereal boxes are going to the Milpitas Food Bank. The class that collected the most boxes gets a pizza party.
