HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. -- Sugar the surfing dog rode her last wave over the weekend as the beloved pup continues battling cancer.
Crowds gathered in Huntington Beach, California, on Saturday to watch and cheer on the pup as she happily surfed alongside her owner.
The 16-year-old dog is considered a local legend, becoming a 5-time World Dog Surf Champion and the first animal ever inducted into the Surfers' Hall of Fame.

A GoFundMe page made to support Sugar has already raised more than $10,000.
