Newly released surveillance video shows chaos inside a Michigan Walmart as a man went on a stabbing spree in July, injuring 11 people and sending shoppers running.
The suspect is seen wearing a green backpack, in the video he sneaks up on his first victim, a woman dressed in black. He appears to push her to the ground, then appears to start going after another customer.
The suspect was identified as 42-year-old Bradford James Gille.
Gille appears to jab at another man wearing a jacket, who is seen going airborne.
Moments later, he is seen running into the pharmacy, before appearing to stab another customer in the frozen foods section.
He is later seen running to the parking lot, attacking a woman from behind.
Later, cell phone video shows a crowd stopping the suspect, until police arrived.
Derrick Perry was part of the crowd. Perry is a former Marine.
"I didn't think of anything other than to get him away from people, get him isolated and get him to put the knife down," Perry said.
The 11 stabbing victims survived. Gille pleaded not guilty to assault and terrorism charges.
His family says he has a history of mental health issues.
Gilly was referred for a competency evaluation and all future court hearings related to his case have been removed from the court's calendar.
